Its flight, however, was not much longer than a grasshoppers flight. they use peroxide to make the rocket belt fly. it comes out as steam and that is what powers the belt into the air. a guy performed for J.F.K., showing off the new rocket belt. now adays people are still flying, or trying to, rocket belts. It is many peoples dream to fly one. Eric Scott is the pilot of the most high tech one around today. they can fly over buildings and and sorts of things. the biggest problem with them is the generation, which happens to be about 15 seconds. They say that it was 15 seconds 40 years ago! they must not have done much since then, or what they have done has not been very successful.

Fanny may and Freddie mac were in charge of the home owners earlier this year. but when home owners could not pay back the loans they ended up with a pile of debt. the government was forced to take control of it.

there are banks that are turning up in schools. it helps kids learn the value of money and ways to save it. the principle is hoping that the lessons the kids are learning will help the community.

POLITICS

a run off election is an election that... well i didn't hear the rest. the candidates give really long speeches. what do you call those speeches? it is a filibuster! that was the super question.that must be really boring to sit through. wow, someone once gave a speech that lasted over 15 hours!! i would fall asleep, and i think politics are boring.

ATTACKS

there are major attacks going on in India. someone put a sack of some sort of bomb in one of their largest train station! that is terrible.the pirates off the coast Somalia tried to attack a large cruise ship, but the captain ordered full speed and they where able to out run the pirates.

COLLEGE

there is a major drop in the number of adults who are enrolled in college. the us has dropped from 5 to 7 in fact.

MUSIC

i don't know were this topic came from but OK. many teens are being brought in to court for noise violation. the judge played songs like barney for an hour and made the kids listen to it, the number of booming songs has dropped immensely. i know that if i had to listen t barney for an hour i would be sure to knock off what ever i was doing!!

Over 1 million people have lost their jobs. There is a shelter where there is a team of teen volunteers and come 2 a month and make tthem lunches. there is way less jobs going around. there are tent cities. i think that is terrible that people have to live in tents causer they don't have enough money to get a home. visit channel one . com to find out ways to help the homeless.

does having a TV in your room affect the way you act? they are experimenting with that right now. they surveyed more than 700 teens an d found that people without TVs in their rooms are more accomplished and do better in school and go outside a lot more.thus study they claim is not 100 percent true so don't flip out if you have a TV in your room.

some college students are woried about racial things. i think people should not be prejiduce towards otheres, its pathetic! they are bvanning people from being predjud8ice at schools and other places. there is a thing caklled affirmative action that stops people from discriminating. that i a good idea who ever thought of that. someone is foolong people to make them think that the us has solved the racial stuff in the us.i think that we have to stop discriminating because they are people too. i really dont understand why we are so racial in the first place.
